Online Qualifier Tool for the Low-Income Subsidy: The Social Security Administration has developed a Qualifier Tool for Medicare beneficiaries and those who help them to assess whether they qualify for Extra Help with prescription drug costs.

Local Access to Benefits Coalition member agencies and local affiliates of National ABC member organizations may sign up for an Organizational Edition (OE) of BenefitsCheckUpRx™.OE provides agencies using BenefitsCheckUpRx™ some extra tools that make it easier to screen, enroll and follow up with clients who are eligible to receive Rx assistance, including an online application for the Extra Help with Medicare prescription drug costs. This program provides a simple and confidential online service for seniors and persons with disabilities, and their caregivers. It searches more than 1,300 federal, state, and private programs for seniors and persons with disabilities to find them help with prescription drug and health care costs, housing assistance, property taxes, gas and electric bills, meals as well as many other needs.
