Unveils New Web-based Service
The Access to Benefits Coalition (ABC), a partnership of more than 80 national non-profit organizations, will initiate a powerful grassroots effort designed to educate and enroll lower income beneficiaries in prescription savings.
ABC announces the formation of 52 local Coalitions in 34 states to educate and enroll millions of Medicare-eligible seniors and younger persons with disabilities who need the most help. The local coalitions will host local and regional enrollment events, conduct media outreach and offer telephone assistance.
ABC will unveil a new Web-based service to enable local organizations, pharmacists, discharge planners and anyone with a computer to help lower income beneficiaries enroll in the best combination of both government and company prescription savings programs. ABC's new online service can help lower income Medicare beneficiaries easily determine their eligibility for more than 340 prescription government and company savings programs.
